To meet the increased demand of static castings and to make those castings at competitive prices, a sister concern in the name of Nitin Alloy Steels was started in Februrary, 1998, near Silvassa, Union Territory of Dadra-Nagar Haveli about 150kms away from Mumbai. The Foundry manufactures all grades of steel, stainless steel and heat resistant steel castings and is certified as per ISO 9001:2000 by M/s. BVQI, London.

Nitin Alloy Steels employs "OMEGA" make mechanised sand plant which delivers almost free-flowing resin sand, resulting in all the advantages of resin sand moulding practice such as excellent surface finish, clean lettering and undercuts of pattern, etc. in addition to the very high productivity of mould making:

Quality Control Facilities:

In order to ensure the required chemical composition of cast metal, "Philips" make Vacuum Emission Spectrometer is used by taking "melt down" analysis and adjusting the composition as per required standard, before tapping the heat. To ensure the mechanical properties of the castings, Universal testing machine of 40T capacity is used.

Other facilities include:

1.	Fully equipped wet chemical analysis laboratory
2.	Dye Penetrant testing facilities
3.	Brinell & Poldi hardness testing machines
4.	Sand testing equipments for sieve analysis, permeability, clay content, mould and core hardness checking
5.	Calibrated linear measuring instruments such as scales, vernier, calipers, micrometer etc.
6.	Air flow testing machine for grate plates.
